Seems like a recipe for fail to me. Twilight has a female fanbase, and mmos are, lets face it. a male thing. I guess it won't be a typical MMO but still i can't see it being a very good computer game at all let alone a MMO.

K, I looked. And I found out info.

First off, not an MMO. They state this on their webpage. It's a solo adventure to interact with the characters.

This is also being done all non-profit. It's a group of volunteers making the game who will then surrender their work to Summit Entertainment.

FYI.

P.S. No! I've never read Twilight.

You're kidding right? The movie was horribad. I only went to see it because I wanted to make fun of it, but it just made me depressed. The first book was good, the movie slaughtered it (got what it deserves?), the second book was bad, third was ok, fourth I couldn't bring myself to finish. Any kind of video game would just... /facepalm

In short: Twilight is overhyped. Like the Angels and Demons movie (compared to the book, the movie sucked; alone though it was ok).

Wow you know this actually got me to thinking...

Twilight may actually be a good thing to bring in more attention to MMO's. It is very popular and if you bring in a whole new crowd to this video game scene maybe they will move on to play more games such as Guild Wars and World of Wombats. Who knows... this could be a good thing.
